Do I have to be a member of your church or a particular church to send my child to T.C.E?

Absolutely not, we have families from many different faith backgrounds. We do teach from a Seventh Day Adventist Christian perspective. Students will start the morning with worship, have bible classes and have Chapel every Friday.

Are you accredited?

Yes, our school is accredited by the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh Day Adventists and the National Council for Private School Accreditation.

Are you teachers credentialed?

All teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree, are credentialed and are highly qualified. Teachers attend school in-service, conference in-service, local workshops and take continuing education classes.

What are school hours?

Monday-Thursday: 8:15 - 3:30
Friday: 8:15 - 12:15
Drop off: 7:45 - 8:15 am
Pick-up: 3:30 - 3:45 pm

Do you offer before and after school care?

Yes, we do provide before and after care.

Before & After Care Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am - 7:45 am & 3:45 pm - 6:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 7:45 am & 12:15 pm - 4:30 pm
Monday-Friday: 7:45 am - 8:15 am - no charge

$5.00 per hour/per student, billed in 15 minute increments. Aftercare billing starts at 3:45 pm and stops once a parent/guardian signs the student out from aftercare.

Does the T.C.E curriculum meet state standards?

Yes, the T.C.E. curriculum does meet AZ state standards. We assess our students three times a year. At TCE we want our students to not only to excel academically but to choose and accept Christ as their creator and redeemer, grow in their knowledge and demonstrate their commitment to the creator through service to others.

Do you require students to wear uniforms?

Yes, K-8th grade students are required to wear uniforms. We want the focus at school to be on education, not on clothing attire. For more information regarding uniforms and the T.C.E dress code please see our dress code policy.

Do you allow parents to help in the classrooms?

Yes, we welcome and encourage parents to help in our classrooms. All parent volunteers, chaperones and field trip drivers must pass a background check through verified volunteer .

All field trip drivers must comply with the required insurance requirements. Volunteers who work with students on a daily basis need to be fingerprinted.

What are your school office hours?

Regular Office Hours: Mon-Thurs. 8:00am-4:00pm, Fri. 8:00 am to 1:00pm
Summer Office Hours: Mon-Thurs. 9:00am - 12:00 pm.
